Aparaaditehas has become one of Tartu’s liveliest cultural centres, combining a unique working environment for creative entrepreneurs with art, retail, catering and entertainment. Many of our spaces are open to anyone interested, but there’s still plenty hidden behind closed doors. We’ve put together eight sample packages to showcase the possibilities on offer at the factory. Whether you’d like to celebrate a birthday, take a guided tour of the building or hold a work meeting in an inspiring setting – anything is possible!
The price depends on both the number of participants and the activities chosen; therefore, the sample packages do not include prices. All the activities listed below can be combined to create an event that is just right for you. The packages are intended solely to provide inspiration.

For Children and Parents
It may seem hard to believe, but Aparaaditehas has become one of the most child-friendly neighbourhoods in the area. A significant part of the courtyard is taken up by a sandpit complex along with other attractions; it is home to Tagahoov, one of the city’s most popular venues for children’s birthday parties, not to mention the children’s menus at the restaurants and the story-telling sessions at the bookshop Biblioteek. By choosing from among all these activities, you can put together a programme that offers excitement for the children and relaxation for the parents.

Activities
- Workshop at the TYPA Centre
- Reading room at the Fahrenheit bookshop or playroom at Tagahoov
- A brilliant party at Tagahoov
- Leave your child to enjoy the party, whilst you join an educational tour of contemporary art at the Kogo Gallery.
Team Event
Are you looking for an inspiring venue for a corporate meeting, or simply a change of scenery? Would you like to combine your meeting with an entertaining social event? Do you need to organise a conference with catering for up to 80 people? Then get in touch – we’ll find you the perfect venue for your gathering and put together an entertaining programme!
Activities
- The official part can take place on the rooftop of Aparaaditehas, at TYPA Centre, in Armastuse Saal, in the Tagahoov, in the Kolme Tilli seminar room, in the Aparaaditehas meeting room, or at another suitable venue within the factory (see the ‘Rooms’ page for a list of all rooms available for short-term hire).
