Join us on the last Friday of August for a magical evening at Aparaaditehas! Wander through creative paths, explore the factory’s hidden corners, and peek behind usually closed doors.
We’ll be celebrating with the opening of several new exhibitions and enjoying some fantastic music.
Most of the Gallery Night program is free for visitors! Supported by the city of Tartu

The Tartu Illustration Festival (TIF) that will host its first event on the 14th of September here at Aparaaditehas will open a small pop-up exhibition showcasing some illustrators who will be attending the festival.

Speed dating with Finnish artist Antti Eklund in his solo show “The Path Forward Needs Walking” in restaurant Trikster Tihane. What have you always wanted to know about an artist’s life, but never had the courage to ask? This is your chance! You can submit anonymous questions that Finnish artist Antti Eklund will answer live during Gallery Night. Submit your questions HERE

The “Urban Naivist House Museum” exhibition by Kairo will be open for a few more days. On this occasion, her tattoo artist Sky will have a flash day at the Kairo House Museum at 18–21. Those who wish can get a tattoo. Bring cash! In addition, Kairo will host a tour of her own tattoos and tell stories related to the works.

DEEPDANCE COMPANY

Site-specific durational performance “Borders” that explores inner borders of human beings. Performance lasts for 4 hours on the rooftop of Aparaaditehas. Viewers can come and go throughout this time and investigate their own borders against others and the outer world.

As a result of the collective effort of all visitors, in this evening the factory cat Johannes Gutenberg will be entered into Wikipedia, about whom Wikipedia still (completely undeservedly) has no Wiki page.
